WEDDINGS
We are situated within the Taradale township, in beautiful country surroundings near Napier in Hawke’s Bay.
Our historic winery is a beautiful space popular for weddings, and we also offer a stunning garden ceremony option that be utilized for drinks and canapés.
There’s no need to go off-site for your wedding photographs. Wedding parties love our award-winning gardens and underground cellars for the spectacular backdrops they provide.
Our beautiful grounds can be used to capture your special day and fill your album with unforgettable memories.

We offer a number of unique venues ideal for conference dinners, cocktail functions, social gatherings and so much more.
TOM MCDONALD CELLAR
The winery’s premium function venue is the striking Tom McDonald Cellar that overlooks 1.5 hectares of parklands. The cellar pays tribute to Tom McDonald’s contribution to the New Zealand wine industry. Fusing Old World French Provencal style with uniquely New Zealand influences, the Cellar boasts native tawa floors, open jarrah beams and contemporary copper lighting. The function space overlooks French oak wine barrels that impart a rich ambience of class and warmth.
GWEN BAR
Our Exclusive Gwen Bar situated on the expansive lawn is the perfect place to host those small intimate wine tastings, product launches or even key media releases.
WINE MUSEUM
Our underground wine museum provides a wonderfully atmospheric setting for small group events. This adds a truly unique dimension to an event and is ideal for pre-dinner cocktails, private intimate wine tastings as well as our guided experiences.
