AROMA AND PALATE
On the nose, is a complex amalgam of dark berry fruit, cassis and roasted cocoa bean, lifted by more fragrant aromas of cedar, sandalwood and hints of dried lavender and thyme.
The palate is full bodied with firm but fine-grained tannin and great length.
Well matched to game and red meats, cured meats and other savoury dishes with robust flavours.
