HAWKE'S BAY BLANC DE NOIRS MÉTHODE TRADITIONNELLE
AROMA AND PALATE
Hints of strawberry, spice, floral, earthy and mushroom notes are overlaid with rich creamy, nutty, brioche-like complexities derived from extended yeast lees contact.
The palate is finely textured, long and relatively full as is typical of Pinot Noir-based Méthode Traditionnelle.
Great as an apéritif, Blanc de Noirs is also a versatile food wine. A great match for oysters, clams, crayfish or delicate fish dishes including sashimi. Can also be enjoyed with richer dishes including smoked trout or salmon. Blanc de Noirs can even work well with game meats such as duck or rabbit and can be a great accompaniment where mushrooms or truffles are included.
